Er is licht aan het einde van de tunnel

Je hebt fantasie nodig om iets concreets te ontdekken in de voorspellingen van Nostradamus. Maar achteraf bezien zijn ze toch opmerkelijk. De voorspellingen zijn beperkt en zeker niet zo talrijk als jaarlijks uitgelegd door allerlei "zieners". Over de afgelopen 100 jaar zijn er feitelijk maar 2 voorspellingen opgenomen in zijn boek waarvan je achteraf zou kunnen zeggen dat 1 daarvan de 2de wereldoorlog betreft. Dan volgt de voorspelling: een ernstige (oorlogs) gebeurtenis komend vanuit het oosten, waarna een zeer lange periode van vrede volgt. Ik heb altijd gedacht dat het "oosten" de arabische wereld zou zijn, gegeven de spanningen Arabieren en Israël. Maar nu lijkt het er op dat de voorspelling Russische, Midden-Oosten en inmiddels mogelijk ook Aziatische (China en Noord-Korea) agressie en geweld betreft. Hoopgevend is de voorspelling dat daarna een zeer lange periode van vrede volgt, al wordt die periode misschien wel mede afgedwongen door klimaatverandering.
